How You Can Help

BECOME A MEMBER

The Darst Center relies on the financial support of generous donors to support our mission of social justice education.  Sustaining membership provides reliable monthly funds for the Darst Center to continue to develop more programming and resources for every participant who experiences a retreat with us.  As a sustaining member, your donation will be automatically withdrawn each month without you even thinking about it.  It is a no-hassle way for you to support educating tomorrow's leaders to be change agents in the world.  Thank you for your support.

ENGAGE VIRTUALLY

While we certainly love having visitors, we know not everyone can visit the Darst Center in person on a regular basis. We greatly appreciate having people engage with us virtually.  You can check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  We welcome you to engage in dialog on our posts, keeping in mind our Brave Space Agreements.  We also invite you to read our blog and sign up for our newsletter, Burning Issues.  Engaging with us virtually helps us the Darst Center's reach more people and spread our mission.  We look forward to "seeing" you on the web!

MAKE A GIFT

The Darst Center relies on generous support of donors like you.  If you believe in our mission of social justice education, please consider making a one-time donation to support this important work.  As one donor recently said, "The Darst Center's mission of opening hearts is wholly unique. By supporting the Darst Center I am, in turn, supporting all of their partner agencies--broadening and spreading out my gift to make the greatest impact to do the most good."  Thank you for your generosity.

VOLUNTEER

Some of the areas that we would love to have your help in include:

Retreat Facilitators to assist our staff. Many college students volunteer in this capacity.

Researchers or Policy Experts can help enhance our retreat programming and our advocacy training through their knowledge in systemic racism, housing/homelessness, incarceration, immigration, etc.

Volunteers to help with gardening and general carpentry work at the Center.

Members of the community willing to serve on the Darst Center Board of Directors or one of its committees in the areas of development and fundraising, public relations and more.
